Today we received a phone call that Shanny had passed away. Shanny had been one of the families puppies ever since he (Shanny) was born. He recently began suffering from heart problems that are common in Boxers. I feel so sad to lose this member of our family. He was a sweet puppy. He weighed almost as much as me and he loved to lay on me (and other people) and squish me. His ears were soft and his nose was dry, his fur was pretty like an orange pumpkin. He pouted when you didn't give him the scratches he wanted, he kissed you when you were sad, and he snuggled you when you were cold. The first thing Kyle asked me after we heard the news was if we could say a prayer for Shanny. So, we got on our knees and prayed to Heavenly Father about how thankful we are to have had Shanny in our lives, and we are thankful that he is in Heaven with his brother Riley and his mom Sadie, and that he isn't in pain any longer. Rest in peace Shanny Boy, we will see you in heaven one day (:
